PT Jamkrindo has been honored with the Golden Winner Award at the BUMN Brand Award 2020, organized by Iconomics on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. This prestigious award serves as recognition for outstanding state-owned enterprises (BUMN) that have excelled in branding, reputation management, and customer engagement.
The BUMN Brand Award 2020 evaluated state-owned enterprises based on four key indicators: Market Dominance – Assessed by the number of users of BUMN products and services, Brand Strength – Measured by the level of brand awareness among respondents, Customer Satisfaction – Evaluated through feedback on service quality, Social and Economic Contribution – Analyzed based on public perception of the company’s impact.
According to Alex Mulya, Research Director at Iconomics, the assessment was conducted through surveys targeting three millennial segments—Early, Mid-term, and Late Millennials—categorized by income levels: low, middle, and high.
PT Jamkrindo, as a leading credit guarantee company for MSMEs, was recognized alongside 47 other BUMNs for its strong corporate reputation, particularly during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
"A company’s reputation is not built overnight; it takes time and continuous effort. However, a corporate reputation can collapse in an instant if not managed properly. That’s why both leadership and management must be highly attentive to internal and external factors that could impact their company’s standing," said Alex Mulya.
The COVID-19 pandemic has posed significant challenges for BUMNs, requiring them to adapt and maintain public trust while fulfilling their dual role as profit-driven entities and government policy supporters.
To address these challenges, Iconomics focused on corporate reputation during and after the pandemic, making it the central theme of the webinar and virtual award ceremony titled:
“Corporate Reputation Before and After the COVID-19 Pandemic”
This event featured key discussions on corporate reputation strategies from top executives and industry leaders, including: Moeldoko – Presidential Chief of Staff, Republic of Indonesia, Tanri Abeng – Former Minister of State-Owned Enterprises.
Additionally, several prominent BUMN leaders participated in the discussions, including: Irfan Setiaputra – President Director of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk, Muhammad Awaludin – President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), Fajar Wibhiyadi – President Director of PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero), Moh. Edi Isdwiarto – Director of Human Resources, PT Pegadaian (Persero).
Following the webinar discussions, the BUMN Brand Award 2020 ceremony took place, recognizing state-owned enterprises that excel in brand reputation and public perception. PT Jamkrindo emerged as one of the award winners, further solidifying its position as a trusted institution in the financial guarantee sector.
This achievement reflects Jamkrindo’s dedication to brand excellence, customer satisfaction, and corporate social responsibility, reinforcing its commitment to supporting Indonesia’s economic growth and financial stability.
