Jamkrindo Provides COVID-19 Relief Assistance in Sukabumi

PT Jamkrindo, through Jamkrindo Regional Office IV Bandung, has distributed COVID-19 relief donations in Sukabumi, West Java, via Polresta Sukabumi. The aid, consisting of personal protective equipment (PPE) and basic food supplies, was provided to communities affected by the pandemic.

The symbolic handover of the donation took place on Monday, June 22, 2020, with Dody Novarianto, Head of Jamkrindo Regional Office IV Bandung, presenting the aid to AKBP Sumarni, S. IK., S.H., M.H., Chief of Sukabumi Police.

Dody emphasized that this donation is part of Jamkrindo's ongoing national relief efforts.
"This assistance reflects PT Jamkrindo's empathy towards those economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.

On a national scale, Jamkrindo Incorporated, along with its subsidiary Jamkrindo Syariah, initiated a COVID-19 relief donation program, successfully raising IDR 4.012 billion.

The funds were sourced from: Voluntary salary and bonus deductions from employees, THR and salary deductions from the board of directors and commissioners, Allocation of anniversary celebration funds. 

The “Jamkrindo Cares for COVID-19 Impact” movement is part of Jamkrindo’s corporate social responsibility (CSR), aligned with its 50th anniversary celebration, focusing on health and community support programs.

The COVID-19 relief donation coincided with Jamkrindo’s 50th anniversary and the 74th anniversary of Bhayangkara (Indonesian Police Day) on July 1, 2020.

AKBP Sumarni, S. IK., S.H., M.H., expressed gratitude for Jamkrindo’s contributions:
"This assistance is crucial in supporting COVID-19 prevention efforts. We sincerely appreciate Jamkrindo's attention to the community. Happy 50th anniversary to Jamkrindo, and may you continue to contribute to the nation."

Apart from providing COVID-19 aid, Jamkrindo also facilitated hydroponic horticulture training for members of the Ciletuh Homestay Association in Sukabumi, West Java, on Saturday, June 20, 2020.

This training aimed to add value to homestays in the Ciletuh Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark (CPUGGp) by equipping owners with new skills to enhance visitor experiences.

The training followed strict health protocols, ensuring participants: Underwent temperature checks, Wore masks throughout the session, Had access to hand sanitizers.

Participants received hands-on training, applying hydroponic techniques under the guidance of experienced facilitators. The program aimed to empower homestay owners with additional income-generating skills, strengthening economic resilience during the pandemic.

With these initiatives, Jamkrindo continues to demonstrate its commitment to social responsibility, economic empowerment, and sustainable community development.
