All formal and non-formal institutions have united in the fight against the spread of COVID-19. Similarly, State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in West Java came together to collect donations and contribute to the efforts in tackling the Coronavirus. On Wednesday, April 29, 2020, PT Jamkrindo, along with the COVID-19 Task Force of BUMN West Java, coordinated by PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, handed over personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers, including medical Hazmat suits, face shields, dust masks, safety goggles, protective gloves, and safety boots.
The donation was handed over by Dody Novarianto, the Head of PT Jamkrindo’s Bandung Regional Office, to West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil. This aid is part of the ongoing Jamkrindo Peduli Covid-19 program, which Jamkrindo has carried out in multiple locations across Indonesia.
Separately, Randi Anto, the President Director of Jamkrindo, expressed his concern over the COVID-19 pandemic. On behalf of the company, he thanked all medical personnel who have been working tirelessly for the well-being of Indonesia. "Our hope is that this pandemic will soon come to an end, allowing our regions to return to normal and the economy to recover as before," he said.
In addition to West Java, Jamkrindo has also delivered COVID-19 relief aid in Aceh, Manado, Mamuju, Ternate, Gorontalo, Samarinda, Denpasar, Makassar, Kendari, Pontianak, and more. Regarding risk mitigation, Jamkrindo has developed and implemented its Business Continuity Protocol (BCP) for COVID-19 risk control.
"The preparation of this protocol is based on a comprehensive analysis of the impact of the spread of the Coronavirus, including its effects on the business and operations of the company. Our BCP is aligned with the general COVID-19 handling standards and best emergency practices, and we continue to follow the guidance of relevant stakeholders," said Randi.
