PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) has adjusted its operations in response to the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in several regions, including Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi. This step is part of the effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, stated that the company is fully committed to supporting the government's PSBB policy. Despite this, Jamkrindo continues to operate while minimizing the number of employees present in the office. "Currently, the majority of our employees are working from home. For example, at our headquarters, of the 343 employees, only about 12 people are physically present in the office to ensure that services continue," said Randi on Sunday, April 12, 2020.
Jamkrindo’s branches and service units, including those near the headquarters, such as the Special Branch Office in Jakarta, Branch Offices in Jakarta and Tangerang, and the Service Units in Bogor and Bekasi, have also fully implemented work-from-home (WFH) policies. Jamkrindo partners can directly contact the company's Guarantee Specialists through direct contact or the call center at 1500701. "With the support of technology, all Jamkrindo staff working from home are equipped to work remotely, efficiently, and comfortably, ensuring that services are maintained without reducing productivity," added Randi.
Jamkrindo operates a network with 9 regional offices, 1 special branch office, 56 branch offices, and 16 service units. The service adjustments are only applicable to regions where the government has implemented PSBB. For other branch offices, Randi assures that these branches continue to operate with certain adjustments, such as rotating shifts for staff who are present in the office.
Regarding risk mitigation, Jamkrindo has implemented the Business Continuity Protocol (BCP) for COVID-19 Risk Control within the company. Ceriandri Widuri, the Head of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Risk Management Division at Jamkrindo, emphasized that the company is prioritizing the safety of its employees and partners in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The BCP includes various procedures for COVID-19 mitigation, such as education about the virus and its symptoms, a list of government-designated referral hospitals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for guest reception, and business travel regulations. The protocol also outlines procedures for handling employees suspected of being infected with COVID-19 and the policies for working from home.
"This protocol was developed after analyzing the overall impact of the virus spread, including its effects on business and company operations. Our BCP adheres to standard COVID-19 management practices, emergency protocols, and the guidance of relevant stakeholders," said Ceriandri.
Additionally, Jamkrindo has implemented preventive measures, including disinfecting workspaces, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of operational areas and company vehicles, and providing hand sanitizers and masks. The company has also placed banners promoting awareness of COVID-19 safety measures in various locations.
Jamkrindo regularly reminds its employees to maintain good health by washing hands frequently, wearing masks when experiencing flu or coughing symptoms, and seeking medical attention if necessary.
