PT Jamkrindo (Persero) distributed masks, gloves, and hand sanitizers to the community as part of the company's contribution to prevent the spread of the Corona virus (Covid-19) on Friday (March 20, 2020). The distribution took place around Jamkrindo's head office in the Kemayoran area, Central Jakarta.
Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, said that 50 boxes, or 2,500 masks, were distributed in stages. During the distribution, Jamkrindo ensured that the community did not gather and adhered to social distancing guidelines. “This activity is a demonstration of our commitment to participate in efforts to prevent the spread of the Corona virus,” Randi said.
In addition to the mask distribution, Jamkrindo has actively carried out literacy and socialization on preventing the Corona virus to all of its employees. Various initiatives have been undertaken, such as body temperature checks, hand sanitizer placement, and the implementation of social distancing in elevators. Moreover, Jamkrindo also held Health Talk sessions featuring doctors, placed educational banners regarding awareness of the Corona virus, and regularly carried out disinfectant spraying.
Randi emphasized that Jamkrindo's guarantee services remain operational. A total of 9 regional offices, one special branch office, 56 branch offices, and 16 service unit offices (KUP) are ready to provide guarantee services to MSMEs, cooperatives, and business partners. The work-from-home (WFH) policy is applied in regions identified with Covid-19 cases, such as Jabodetabek, Semarang, Banten, Solo, Pontianak, Batam, Manado, and Yogyakarta, with a team division work system. “WFH does not reduce our spirit to always provide the best service,” Randi stated.
