PT Jamkrindo (Persero) has received an appreciation for its contribution to the development of human resources (HR) from Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). This recognition is in line with the implementation of the Merdeka Campus and Merdeka Learning programs by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Jamkrindo was awarded for its contribution to the student development program at UNJ, particularly in the Certified Internship Program for Students (PMMB).
The award was presented by UNJ Rector Dr. Komarudin, M.Si, and was received symbolically by Jamkrindo's Head of HR Division, Erna Zubaida, on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at the Bung Hatta Hall, UNJ Campus, Jakarta.
In a separate statement, Jamkrindo’s President Director, Randi Anto, stated that HR development has long been a focus of the company. Various initiatives have been carried out, including the reception of the Certified Internship Program (PMMB), school renovation assistance, scholarships for outstanding students, educational seminars, and the Jamkrindo Peduli Education Program, which holds the MURI Record for distributing the most school supplies for two consecutive years.
“We are committed to supporting the government’s programs in national economic development, particularly in developing superior human resources,” Randi Anto said in a press release.
Since its launch in August 2018, Jamkrindo has welcomed talented young people through the PMMB. Under the theme “Build People, Build The Future,” this certified internship program is now entering its fourth batch, with a total of 281 participants. “Of these, 49 are from UNJ,” Randi stated.
The internship program at Jamkrindo is not just about providing opportunities for young talents to gain direct work experience but also about preparing a generation with excellent competencies that can adapt to the changing times, especially in the VUCA era (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity) and Industry 4.0.
“They are equipped not only with hard skills but also with the soft skills necessary to become future leaders,” Randi explained.
As a benchmark company for all credit guarantee companies in Indonesia, Randi emphasized that Jamkrindo views HR development as a strategic issue. Of the 281 PMMB participants, 44 have been hired as entry-level employees.
