PT Jamkrindo (Persero) launched its 50th-anniversary logo themed "Continuing to Contribute to the Nation." This logo reflects the company's maturity as it reaches this golden milestone after a long journey working together to build the nation.
The President Director of PT Jamkrindo, Randi Anto, explained that the theme reflects the company's success in reaching this valuable milestone, marking its golden age and its continuous contributions to the nation through excellent performance. This aligns with the company's mission of providing the best services professionally, effectively, efficiently, and sustainably through synergy.
"This is interpreted in the concept of brilliant growth, driven by a productive and proactive spirit in achieving goals through value-added, effective, efficient, customer-oriented activities and team solidarity," Randi said at the logo launch event for Jamkrindo's 50th anniversary at the Jamkrindo Head Office in Jakarta on Monday, March 2, 2020.
Randi further mentioned that the 50th anniversary is a moment for the company to increase its contribution to the nation. This milestone also marks a new chapter for providing guarantee services through the transformation of its legal entity from Perum Jamkrindo to PT Jamkrindo (Persero).
"Smart work amidst change will become the spirit for all Jamkrindo personnel to continue to grow, strengthen its strategic role, and create a positive impact for the nation," he added.
In parallel, a series of activities are being carried out to support the improvement of the quality of Indonesia's human resources. The theme was chosen with the hope that the company can be even more beneficial to the community, making Jamkrindo's performance felt by all parties.
The focus of the entire 50th-anniversary celebration includes Jamkrindo Peduli Pendidikan (Jamkrindo Cares for Education), Jamkrindo Peduli Sosial (Jamkrindo Cares for Social Issues), and Jamkrindo Peduli Kesehatan (Jamkrindo Cares for Health).
Randi Anto explained that these activities have been ongoing since the beginning of the year. It started with Jamkrindo Peduli Sosial activities, such as distributing aid to victims of flooding in Lebak, Banten, and the Greater Jakarta area. In February, Jamkrindo also provided donations to two orphanages in Yogyakarta, namely Panti Asuhan Wiloso Projo and Panti Asuhan Yatim Putra Muhammadiyah.
"We are also conducting sustainable empowerment in the Ciletuh Geopark, Sukabumi, West Java, focusing on an anti-plastic waste campaign, which aligns with the anniversary agenda of Jamkrindo Peduli Education, Health, and Social Issues. This long-term activity will continue until 2022 and was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Sukabumi Regency Government on enhancing community-based economic growth through an anti-plastic waste campaign in the Ciletuh Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark," said Randi Anto.
In addition, as part of Jamkrindo Peduli Pendidikan, Jamkrindo recently conducted a green lifestyle education program in schools in Sukabumi, West Java, specifically in 8 sub-districts within the Ciletuh Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark area, involving participants from the certified student internship program, as well as providing scholarships and school renovation aid.
Other planned activities include the Jamkrindo Hackathon Competition, scholarships for underprivileged students, the provision of a mobile library, photography competitions, journalistic writing contests, donations and free food packages, school renovations, provision of funeral vehicles, anti-waste campaign education, launching waste banks in Ciletuh Geopark, Sukabumi, religious facility assistance, blood donations, eye exams and free glasses distribution, support for former national athletes, mass circumcisions, provision of UMKM business equipment, sports events with partners, financial management training, the launch of the 50th Anniversary Jamkrindo book, provision of usable goods, and internal company competitions.
As it turns 50, Jamkrindo has changed its legal status from a Perusahaan Umum (Perum) to PT Jamkrindo (Persero) through Government Regulation No. 11/2020 regarding the change of Jamkrindo's legal entity form. This decision was formalized through the Ministry of Law and Human Rights' Decree Number AHU-00011484.AH.01.01 of 2020 on the Ratification of the Establishment of the Limited Liability Company (Persero) PT Jamkrindo (Persero).
