In celebration of its 50th anniversary, which will take place on July 1, 2020, Perum Jamkrindo organized a series of activities as part of its Social Care Movement and Jamkrindo Cares for Education program in Yogyakarta. These activities included providing assistance to two orphanages in Yogyakarta: Panti Asuhan Wiloso Projo and Panti Asuhan Yatim Putra Muhammadiyah. The event was attended by several Jamkrindo officials, including Aribowo, Lusy Susanti, Erna Zubaida, Wakhyu Hidayatullah, Abdul Bari, Krisna Johan, and Sudibyo.
In a separate occasion, Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, stated that the donation event took place during the National Work Meeting of Jamkrindo, which was held on February 7-8, 2020. The theme of the meeting, "Grow Smart Amidst Change," reflected Jamkrindo's understanding that changes and economic dynamics must be addressed intelligently with the right response and strategic planning for outstanding performance.
One of the actions taken by Jamkrindo is to continuously innovate and remain vigilant in assessing risks while seizing opportunities. "Jamkrindo must be able to face challenges and take advantage of business opportunities to achieve the company's targets, enabling it to continue growing and developing," said Randi Anto in his speech.
He also emphasized that working smart is unavoidable in today's era of change. The existing dynamics must be responded to effectively and efficiently by prioritizing innovation in all aspects. "This change requires innovation, insight, quick execution, while still ensuring good corporate governance (GCG)," Randi added.
Present at the event were the Board of Commissioners, Directors, Division Heads, Regional Leaders, KCK, Desk Heads, and directors of Jamkrindo Syariah. As a company focused on SMEs, Randi stated that Jamkrindo has always supported the advancement of SMEs by enhancing financial accessibility through innovative, competitive guarantees and professional, effective, and efficient services on an ongoing basis.
In addition, to accelerate the improvement of the capabilities and quality of national SMEs, Jamkrindo is also working to create an ecosystem for SMEs. "As we approach our 50th anniversary, we are committed to always being present in society and providing the best services for SME and Cooperative players. This donation event is one of many activities we will present in the future, such as free homecoming trips, scholarships, community empowerment, and other positive initiatives," said Randi.
