Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) supported by Perum Jamkrindo have begun tapping into the industrial market, showcasing their products at Indonesia’s largest international trade exhibition, Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI), held at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) Tangerang on Thursday, October 17, 2019.
Through this exhibition, Perum Jamkrindo facilitates its fostered MSMEs in gaining broader market access, both domestically and internationally, by introducing their products to global consumers and enhancing their competitiveness in the international market.
The event was attended by State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Minister Rini M. Soemarno and Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) Triawan Munaf, who visited the booth of one of Jamkrindo’s fostered partners, a folding mat craftsman from Bogor.
Commitment to MSME Growth
Perum Jamkrindo’s President Director, Randi Anto, emphasized that as the only SOE engaged in MSME credit guarantees, the company consistently and sustainably supports the expansion of Indonesian MSMEs.
"Our hope is that by participating in this event, MSME players will gain greater market access, opening doors for them to enter wider and more competitive markets," said Randi.
This is not the first time Perum Jamkrindo has facilitated MSMEs in participating in national and international exhibitions. The company has previously brought MSMEs to exhibitions abroad, including in Malaysia, South Korea, and other countries, as part of its continuous effort to elevate MSMEs to a higher business level.
Randi further emphasized that Perum Jamkrindo is committed to helping MSMEs grow and scale up. "It is our responsibility and focus to support the advancement of MSMEs and cooperatives," he added.
