As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and state-owned enterprises' (BUMN) disaster relief efforts, Perum Jamkrindo has extended humanitarian assistance to those affected by the earthquake in Ambon, Maluku Province. The aid was officially handed over by Perum Jamkrindo’s Ambon Branch Head, Daniel Palembangan, to PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, which served as the coordinator for the BUMN relief post, on September 29, 2019.
Perum Jamkrindo’s President Director, Randi Anto, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri program, demonstrating solidarity and tangible support for disaster-affected communities.
"Perum Jamkrindo is committed to easing the burden of those impacted by the earthquake," said Randi.
The assistance provided includes logistical supplies and essential food items, such as: Logistics: Tarpaulins, emergency lights, mats, blankets, Basic food supplies: Rice, instant noodles, bottled water, milk, and biscuits.
"We hope this aid will provide much-needed relief to the affected communities," Randi added.
Perum Jamkrindo remains dedicated to monitoring the post-disaster recovery process in Ambon alongside BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri teams and other stakeholders.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Ambon," Randi concluded.
