Perum Jamkrindo recorded strong business performance in the first half of 2019, maintaining business sustainability while achieving significant growth. As the largest credit guarantee company, Jamkrindo reported a guarantee volume of IDR 102.88 trillion, reflecting a 19.21% increase from IDR 86.30 trillion in the same period the previous year.
The guarantee volume consists of: People’s Business Credit (KUR) guarantees: IDR 28.53 trillion, Non-KUR guarantees: IDR 74.35 trillion.
Jamkrindo’s President Director, Randi Anto, stated that this strong business performance led to a pre-tax profit (EBT) of IDR 372.03 billion, an 82.28% increase from IDR 204.1 billion in the previous year.
"This achievement is the result of maintaining business sustainability while focusing on growth by optimizing capacity effectively and efficiently," Randi said in a press release on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
To ensure business sustainability, Jamkrindo has implemented several strategic initiatives, including: Enhancing human resource competencies, Developing value-added guarantee products, Strengthening market penetration through various innovations, Establishing synergistic collaborations with business partners.
As of June 2019, Jamkrindo’s total assets stood at IDR 17.40 trillion, a 7.11% increase compared to December 31, 2018. Meanwhile, equity reached IDR 11.67 trillion, up 3.30% from December 31, 2018. Additionally, total assets recorded IDR 11.29 trillion, reflecting a 3.37% increase from December 2018.
By the end of the year, Jamkrindo remains optimistic about achieving its credit guarantee volume target of IDR 182.36 trillion. The company is committed to expanding its guarantee market by establishing new partnerships with banks, non-bank financial institutions, and state-owned enterprises (BUMN) while conducting strategic research to develop new guarantee products that align with banking and non-bank industry trends.
