Perum Jamkrindo Appreciates Former National Football Players

Perum Jamkrindo has given appreciation to five legendary national football players as a form of recognition for former athletes with outstanding achievements. This appreciation was presented in celebration of Perum Jamkrindo's 49th Anniversary.

The symbolic handover of appreciation and assistance amounting to IDR 10 million for each former football player was conducted by the Perum Jamkrindo Board of Directors at the Stadion Madya Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta, on Sunday, July 7, 2019. The handover coincided with a friendly match between football teams from several of Jamkrindo's partner companies.

Perum Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, explained that the assistance was given as a form of appreciation and care for former national football players. Also present during the handover were the Director of Finance, Investment, and Risk Management, I. Rusdonobanu, the Director of Business Guarantee, Amin Mas’udi, the Director of Operations and Network, Kadar Wisnuwarman, and the Director of HR, General Affairs, and Compliance, Sulis Usdoko.

The five legendary football players who received appreciation were Yudo Hadiyanto, Junaidi Abdilah, Risdianto, Robby Binur, and Wahyu Hidayat.

Yudo Hadiyanto, a goalkeeper born in Solo in 1941, played for Persija football club from 1962 to 1975 and the National Team from 1962 to 1975. He represented Indonesia in the Asian Games four times, the Merdeka Games in Malaysia, the Asian Cup, Sea Games, and the Anniversary Cup in Jakarta.

Junaidi Abdilah, a midfielder born in Ampenan in 1948, played for IM FC Surabaya from 1949-1950, IM FC Jakarta from 1951-1981, and Persija Jakarta from 1970-1979. He represented Indonesia in the 1970-1979 period in tournaments such as the Asian Games, Merdeka Games, Sea Games, the Pre-World Cup, the 1976 Pre-Olympics, the 1978 Anniversary Cup, and the 1979 Asian Cup in Bangkok.

Risdianto, a forward, was born in Pasuruan in 1950. He had a career spanning from 1967 to 1984, playing for Junior Tim Pasuruan (1967), Junior Jatim (1968), Pardedetex FC (1970), UMS Jakarta (1971-1975), Hongkong FC (1974), Persija (1973-1979), and Warna Agung (1973-1984). He represented Indonesia in tournaments such as the 1975 Merdeka Games, 1976 Pre-Olympics, 1977 Pre-World Cup, 1978 Anniversary Cup, and the Sea Games in 1977, 1979, and 1981.

Robby Binur, a winger, born in Biak in 1953, played football from 1972 to 1985. He played for Bond Biak (1972), Persipura (1973-1976), IM FC Jakarta (1975-1977), Warna Agung (1978-1985), and Persija (1977-1979). He represented Indonesia in tournaments such as the 1975 Merdeka Games, Sea Games (1975, 1977, 1979), the 1976 Pre-Olympics, the 1978 Anniversary Cup, and the 1979 Asian Cup.

Wahyu Hidayat, a wing-back born in Jakarta in 1964, had a career from 1969 to 1983. He played for IM FC Jakarta (1969-1983) and Persija (1972-1979), and represented Indonesia in tournaments such as the 1976 Merdeka Games, the 1977 Sea Games, the King's Cup in Bangkok, the Pre-World Cup, the 1978 Anniversary Cup, the 1979 Asian Cup, and the 1981 President’s Cup in Seoul.

Perum Jamkrindo’s Director of HR, General Affairs, and Compliance, Sulis Usdoko, stated that the appreciation given to former athletes was a form of recognition for their invaluable contributions to football. He hopes this event will raise awareness among all parties to better appreciate the efforts of former athletes.

"Their achievements can certainly inspire young athletes to work harder and achieve success on the international stage," said Sulis Usdoko.

Meanwhile, regarding the friendly football match organized by Perum Jamkrindo with teams from partner companies, Director of Business Guarantee, Amin Mas’udi, hoped it would strengthen relationships between companies.

"This football match is to celebrate Perum Jamkrindo's 49th Anniversary while also fostering better relationships with partner companies," said Amin Mas’udi.
