Perum Jamkrindo participated in the Indo Livestock 2019 Expo & Forum at Grand City Convex Surabaya, on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. The event, which took place from Wednesday to Friday (July 3-5, 2019), saw participation from various companies and organizations, including Perum Jamkrindo.
Perum Jamkrindo's booth, located on the eastern side of the venue, showcased several products from its partner businesses. One of the highlights was Batik Wistara, which is made by young people with disabilities, around 20 years old, who are part of the Sobat Jamkrindo community.
In addition, as a guarantor for the Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) program, Perum Jamkrindo also collaborated with IKM Mojokerto for products like Makroni Qta and Kopi Nanangan from Surabaya. Hilmiya Fitriana, the Operational Division Head of Perum Jamkrindo's 6th Regional Office in Surabaya, explained that participating in this event allows Perum Jamkrindo to inform the public about their services.
"This exhibition is related to livestock, and Jamkrindo's role is related to KUR distribution, where one of the products can be related to livestock and agriculture," Fitriana explained in an interview with TribunJatim.com at the Grand City Convex Surabaya.
She further clarified that Perum Jamkrindo, in collaboration with the banks, acts as the guarantor for the KUR program, specifically in the livestock sector.
"Banking institutions distribute the KUR, and Jamkrindo, along with Askrindo, serves as the guarantor," she added. (*)
