Perum Jamkrindo Participates in the Ceremony for Releasing Mudik Bareng Participants with the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises

Perum Jamkrindo participated in the ceremonial release of Mudik Bareng BUMN 2019 participants at Gelora Bung Karno alongside the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Rini Soemarno. Also present at the ceremony were Perum Jamkrindo’s President Director, Randi Anto, and the Director of Guarantee Business, Amien Mas’udi.

In collaboration with PT. Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero), Perum Damri, and PT KAI Persero as transportation providers, this year, Perum Jamkrindo sent off 1,700 homebound travelers using sea transport, trains, and buses.

A total of 18 mudik routes were facilitated by BUMN, which has a mission to be the main choice for businesses in providing guarantees to support the growth and equitable distribution of the national economy. “With the many alternatives offered, we hope that the public will be able to return to their hometowns more easily,” said Randi.

This year, Perum Jamkrindo opened registration for free mudik through the website mudikbumn.co.id, which was available from April 3, 2019, to April 30, 2019. Through this application, prospective travelers could easily, quickly, and comfortably register online. “Travelers can directly check their registration status and see the availability of quotas through the website,” said Randi.

In addition to the mudik program, during this Ramadan, Perum Jamkrindo also organized a series of social activities, including distributing free basic food packages and providing assistance to orphans. The distribution of food packages and donations to orphans was part of a series of social activities to celebrate the company’s 49th anniversary, which falls on July 1, 2018. The assistance was distributed in 10 cities: Banjarmasin, Yogyakarta, Pekanbaru, Kendari, Bandung, Palembang, Surabaya, Malang, Denpasar, and Serang, and was attended by the Board of Directors of Perum Jamkrindo. “A total of 4,000 free food packages were distributed, and 3,000 orphans were assisted,” concluded Randi Anto.

Medelina Lona, one of the participants of the Mudik Bareng Perum Jamkrindo, expressed her happiness for being facilitated to return to her hometown. She mentioned that this free mudik program is something the public looks forward to every year. “I’m really helped by this free mudik program. I hope that this program will always be available every year,” she said.
