Surabaya – After hosting Ramadan Safaris in Banjarmasin, Yogyakarta, Pekanbaru, and Kendari, Perum Jamkrindo continued its Ramadan Safari in Surabaya, East Java, on Friday, May 17, 2019.
Perum Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, explained that the purpose of the Ramadan Safari is to strengthen the bond between Perum Jamkrindo and the community, as well as to enhance relationships with business partners.
Through the Ramadan Safari, Perum Jamkrindo aims to get closer and share with the public, implementing the state-owned enterprise program, BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri (SOEs Present for the Country). The Ramadan Safari is also a commitment from Perum Jamkrindo to maintain good relations with all parties, including the community, and to encourage productive activities within society. This initiative is in line with Perum Jamkrindo’s core business of providing credit guarantees for Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises, and Cooperatives (UMKMK).
"While Perum Jamkrindo focuses on its business for the sustainability of the company, we also take the time to personally connect with the community," said Randi Anto.
Amin Mas’udi, the Director of Business Guarantee at Perum Jamkrindo, was present during the Ramadan Safari in Surabaya. He visited several partners and joined in the buka puasa (breaking the fast) together with the community, as well as providing donations to the children of Panti Asuhan Al Habibah.
Amin Mas’udi emphasized that the donation for orphaned children was part of Perum Jamkrindo's direct social contribution. Perum Jamkrindo not only focuses on business performance but also consistently carries out programs that provide direct benefits to the community.
“We hope that the assistance we provide will benefit the recipients and strengthen the relationship between Perum Jamkrindo, its partners, and the community,” Amin stated.
During the event, Mustofa, a representative of Panti Asuhan Al Habibah, expressed his gratitude, saying, “We hope that in the future, Jamkrindo continues to thrive and always provide benefits to children in need.”
In 2019, the Ramadan Safari was held in 10 cities across various regions. After Surabaya, the Safari will continue to visit Malang, Palembang, Bandung, Denpasar, and Serang.
The Ramadan Safari and distribution of aid to the community are annual events held in conjunction with Perum Jamkrindo's celebration of its 49th Anniversary on July 1. After the launch of Perum Jamkrindo’s 49th Anniversary last week, various activities will continue until the peak of the celebration.
