YOGYAKARTA - In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, Perum Jamkrindo carried out a series of Safari Ramadan activities in various cities across different regions. These activities included visits to business partners, breaking fast together, and providing aid and donations to orphaned children.
Perum Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, stated that Safari Ramadan is a routine event held by the company every Ramadan. The goal of this initiative is to bring Perum Jamkrindo closer to the community and strengthen relationships with business partners.
This year, the event was held in 10 cities: Banjarmasin, Yogyakarta, Pekanbaru, Kendari, Surabaya, Malang, Palembang, Bandung, Denpasar, and Serang. “Ramadan is a blessed month. On this good occasion, we strengthen our relationship with business partners while also helping our brothers and sisters who are in need,” said Randi Anto.
Through the Safari Ramadan activities, Perum Jamkrindo aims to share and connect with the community as part of the BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri (SOEs Present for the Country) program. On Tuesday, May 14, 2019, the Safari Ramadan event took place in Yogyakarta.
The Director of Operations and Networks, Kadar Wisnuwarman, was present to visit several business partners in Yogyakarta and to break fast together with the children at the Muhammadiyah Yatim Putra Orphanage in Yogyakarta.
In his speech during the buka puasa (breaking the fast) event, Kadar Wisnuwarman emphasized that the donation to the orphaned children was a manifestation of Perum Jamkrindo's concern for the community. As a state-owned company, Perum Jamkrindo not only focuses on business performance but also continues to implement programs that directly benefit society.
“We hope that these contributions will be a blessing for all of us. A blessing for Perum Jamkrindo and for the community during this Ramadan. May Perum Jamkrindo's presence truly be felt by the community,” said Kadar.
The aid distributed to the Muhammadiyah Yatim Putra Orphanage included donations for 55 orphaned children, 70 packages of basic necessities, and a contribution to the orphanage. “We are very happy to be able to share happiness during this holy month of Ramadan,” said Kadar.
Meanwhile, Ustaz Riduan Hadi Pranata, the Coordinator of the Orphanage, expressed his gratitude for the aid provided by Perum Jamkrindo. He mentioned that the assistance is very beneficial. “The children are very happy,” he said.
The Safari Ramadan and distribution of aid to the community are part of Perum Jamkrindo's activities leading up to its 49th anniversary celebration on July 1st. After launching the 49th anniversary celebration last week, a series of events will continue until the peak of the celebration.
