BANJARMASIN - In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, Perum Jamkrindo has organized a series of Safari Ramadan activities across several locations in different regions. These activities include visits to business partners, breaking fast together, and providing assistance and donations to orphaned children.
Perum Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, stated that the Safari Ramadan is a regular event held by the company every Ramadan. The event aims to bring Perum Jamkrindo closer to the community and strengthen ties with its partners. This year, the event is being held in 10 cities, including Banjarmasin, Yogyakarta, Pekanbaru, Kendari, Surabaya, Malang, Palembang, Bandung, Denpasar, and Serang.
"Ramadan is a month full of blessings. In this good opportunity, we are building connections with our partners while also helping those in need," said Randi Anto.
Through the Safari Ramadan activities, Perum Jamkrindo aims to share and connect with the community as part of the BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri (SOEs Present for the Nation) program. On Monday, May 14, 2019, the Safari Ramadan took place in Banjarmasin.
Amin Mas’udi, Director of Business Guarantee, attended to visit several partners, break fast together, and give donations to orphaned children at the Tahfizhul Qur'an Al Anshari Islamic Boarding School and Orphanage, as well as the Pejuang Mulia Foundation Orphanage.
In his remarks during the iftar event, Amin explained that the donations for orphaned children were part of Perum Jamkrindo's concern for the community. As a company fully owned by the government, Perum Jamkrindo not only focuses on business performance but also continually implements programs that directly benefit the public.
"We hope that this assistance will be a blessing for all of us. A blessing for Perum Jamkrindo and for the community this Ramadan. We hope the presence of Perum Jamkrindo will truly be felt by the community," Amin said.
The assistance provided during the Safari Ramadan event included donations for children in two orphanages. "We are very happy to share happiness during this holy month of Ramadan," Amin added.
The Safari Ramadan and the distribution of assistance are in line with Perum Jamkrindo's activities in preparation for the company's 49th anniversary on July 1. Following the launch of Perum Jamkrindo's 49th anniversary celebrations last week, various activities will continue until the peak of the celebration.
