Entering the holy month of Ramadan, Perum Jamkrindo spread joy by distributing environmental development program (BL) assistance in various areas in Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The assistance included renovation aid for three mosques, with each receiving Rp 50 million, totaling Rp 150 million in support.
The renovation assistance was given to the following mosques: Musala Al Hikmah in Sokawera-Rempoah RT 02 RW 06, Baturaden; Musala Al Arfi in Grumbul Ciberem, Banjarsari Kidul RT 03 RW 03, Sokaraja; and Musala Al Amin on Jalan Dr Soeparno, Purwokerto Timur. The assistance was handed over by Perum Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, to the mosque administrators, witnessed by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Rini Soemarno, on Saturday, May 11, 2019. The event also saw the participation of 15 other BUMNs in handing over donations.
Randi Anto stated that the initiative is part of Perum Jamkrindo's commitment to environmental development programs and the implementation of the "BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri" (State-Owned Enterprises Present for the Country) program, as well as a demonstration of care and empathy towards society, especially for religious facilities that need financial support for renovations.
"Hopefully, this renovation assistance can add comfort for the community in carrying out their worship, especially as we enter the month of Ramadan. May these mosques help the community attain blessings in the holy month," said Randi.
The mosque administrators, Akhmad Muhajir from Musala Al Hikmah, Jumono from Musala Al Arfi, and Suroso from Musala Al Amin, expressed their gratitude to Perum Jamkrindo for the assistance. According to them, the help was much needed by the community. "We thank Perum Jamkrindo for this assistance. This help is very beneficial for us," said Jumono.
Previously, Perum Jamkrindo also distributed assistance to the surrounding community in conjunction with Ramadan, free homecoming services, and the upcoming Eid al-Fitr 1440 H/2019 M. This time, the donations were given to railway crossing guards, orphans and underprivileged people, and for the renovation of MCK (public sanitation facilities) at TPU Rawamangun.
Perum Jamkrindo provided 100 railway crossing guards with free food packages worth a total of Rp 25 million, renovation assistance for the MCK at TPU Rawamangun valued at Rp 40 million, and donations for orphans and underprivileged people under the care of Pimpinan Ranting Aisyiah Kayu Putih Rawa Mangun totaling Rp 23 million.
