Perum Jamkrindo sent one of its assisted micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) partners, Chiva Leather, a leather craftsman, to participate in the Indonesia Creative Product Festival (ICPF) 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Friday, May 5, 2019.
Through this exhibition, Perum Jamkrindo supports its assisted UMKM to enter the international market by introducing their products, allowing them to compete on the global stage.
The Deputy for Mining, Strategic Industry, and Media at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, Fajar Hari Sampurno (center), took the time to visit the booth of this assisted partner.
Separately, Perum Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, stated that Perum Jamkrindo's support aims to help Indonesian UMKM expand their market reach. Perum Jamkrindo emphasizes its mission to support the development of UMKM.
"We hope that by participating in this event, UMKM actors will gain access to expanded market opportunities, becoming a stepping stone for them to penetrate international markets," said Randi.
Bringing UMKM to national and international meetings and exhibitions is not the first time for Perum Jamkrindo. This activity is a regular event organized by the company to actively encourage UMKM entrepreneurs to level up.
Randi Anto emphasized that Jamkrindo is committed to helping UMKM grow and scale up. "It has become our responsibility and focus to advance UMKM and cooperatives," said Randi.
The Indonesia Creative Product Festival (ICPF) 2019, showcasing the best products from state-owned enterprises (BUMN), was held at Mid Valley Hall 3, Level 3, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from May 3-5, 2019.
The event featured various products such as fashion, shoes, bags, travel accessories, food and beverages, handicrafts and decorations, jewelry, and more.
