"This award will serve as motivation to improve our performance, especially in executing effective marketing strategies to achieve better results in the future," said Randi Anto.
The BUMN Marketeers Awards is an initiative of the BUMN Public Relations Forum in collaboration with MarkPlus, Inc., supported by the Indonesia Marketing Association and The Jakarta CMO Club. This award event recognizes state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and their subsidiaries that excel in marketing performance by demonstrating creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership to enhance competitiveness and contribute to the nation.
Beyond profitability, additional assessment criteria include the positive impact that BUMN and its subsidiaries provide to society, whether in social or environmental aspects. Furthermore, recognition is also given to individuals who play a key role in shaping the marketing strategies of these enterprises.
The initial assessment process involved the selection of reports and determination of finalists, which took place in March 2019. Following the finalist selection, a judging process was conducted to determine the top-performing BUMN and its subsidiaries.
Several notable figures attended the event, including Marketeers Founder Hermawan Kartajaya, Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, Special Staff to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Asmawi Syam, Pasuruan Regent Irsyad Yusuf, Expert Staff to the Chief of Police Inspector General Drs. Muktiono, and Chairman of the Indonesian Tourism Industry Association (GIPI) Didien Junaidy.
