Jakarta – Randi Anto has been re-elected as the Chairman of Asosiasi Perusahaan Penjaminan Indonesia (Asippindo) by acclamation during the 2019 Asippindo Member Assembly. Randi, who is also the President Director of Perum Jamkrindo, outlined two key priorities for the future development of Asippindo: collaboration and the enhancement of human resources.
The Member Assembly, held in Jakarta on Thursday, February 7, 2019, included discussions on the financial and activity reports for 2018, followed by the election of the chairman. Having served the previous term, Randi Anto was once again re-elected to lead Asippindo for the 2019-2021 term.
“We will focus on two main areas: collaboration and improving human resource quality. Both are crucial to support the sustainability of the guarantee business,” said Randi Anto after the assembly.
With 23 companies as its members, Asippindo emphasizes the need for collaboration among its members and other strategic partners to improve the competitiveness of the credit guarantee industry. Economic dynamics and technological advancements present new challenges, particularly in terms of business process efficiency.
Quality human resources are essential to support the guarantee business, especially as industry partners, including companies from various sectors, continue to innovate. They are also enhancing cooperation to reduce operational costs.
“Industry partners come from various fields, both financial and non-financial. Collaboration allows the guarantee industry to grow sustainably by developing products that meet partner needs,” Randi emphasized.
In addition to focusing on business challenges, Asippindo is also committed to directly contributing to society through various activities. Throughout 2018, Asippindo participated in numerous social initiatives, both planned and in response to emergency situations. In January 2019, Asippindo also contributed to the recovery efforts in Lombok following the earthquake, as well as to the areas affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Palu-Donggala.
