GORONTALO -
Perum Jamkrindo has actively participated in the BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri program by providing significant support for local infrastructure and educational facilities in Gorontalo. The company contributed to the construction of a road in Lorong 6 Botutonuo through the Padat Karya Tunai (PKT) program, which directly involves the local community in the development process.
In addition to infrastructure, Jamkrindo also assisted with school facility improvements, such as fencing SDN 5 Kabila Bone, Gorontalo. These efforts aim to enhance the quality of life for local residents and students, while also promoting tourism in the Botutonuo beach area, which can further boost the local economy.
The PKT program serves as an innovative approach to community development by ensuring that local residents are directly involved and compensated for their contributions. This program aims to enhance infrastructure, increase income, consumption, and purchasing power, which, in turn, stimulates economic growth in the region.
Perum Jamkrindo, in collaboration with Perum Perumnas, has been coordinating these activities as part of the BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri initiative. Several other programs, such as Siswa Mengenal Nusantara (SMN), a healthy walk, flag ceremonies, and community support programs, have also been implemented in Gorontalo as part of the national effort to celebrate Indonesia's 73rd Independence Day.
Randi Anto, CEO of Perum Jamkrindo, emphasized the company's ongoing commitment to support community development and enhance the role of BUMN as a vital agent of national progress. These initiatives reflect the company’s dedication to contributing to the nation's prosperity, echoing the spirit of independence fought for by the nation’s heroes.
