As a manifestation of Perum Jamkrindo's concern for educational equality and environmental preservation, this state-owned credit guarantee company has provided assistance through its Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL), in the form of a reading garden at Madrasah Islamiah Amaliyah Cijulang, Bogor, and SDN Kopo 3 Cisarua, Bogor, on Saturday, November 3.
In addition, Jamkrindo also donated 500 tree saplings to the off-road community and Mount Pangrango nature lovers, which was symbolically handed over by Sulis Usdoko, Director of Human Resources, General Affairs, and Compliance of Perum Jamkrindo, during an off-road event on the same day.
Sulis stated that the activity was a manifestation of the "State-Owned Enterprises Present for the Nation" program, showing that the presence of BUMNs (State-Owned Enterprises) can be felt by the community. "The PKBL that we carry out is a real example of the role of BUMNs for society and BUMNs as agents of development to help improve the living standards of the community as well as the surrounding environment," said Sulis.
In its efforts to improve the living standards of society, through the Partnership Program, Perum Jamkrindo has distributed business capital loans and provided guidance to UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) throughout Indonesia.
As of the third quarter of 2018, Perum Jamkrindo has had 1,748 fostered partners across various business sectors. In addition to providing business loans, Perum Jamkrindo also offers business mentoring and helps UMKM expand their markets by facilitating their participation in both national and international exhibitions.
