PADANG – Perum Jamkrindo actively participated in supporting the launch of West Sumatra as a tourist destination and the grand celebration of National Press Day (HPN) 2018. The company contributed through its Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL), offering vocational entrepreneurship training for journalists and assistance in creating reading parks for students. Additionally, they opened a stand showcasing the UMKM partners developed by Perum Jamkrindo at Rumah Kreatif BUMN.
The President Director of Perum Jamkrindo, Randi Anto, explained that the company’s involvement in this event is part of the BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri program initiated by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), which highlights the role of BUMNs in supporting society and being agents of development.
Currently, Perum Jamkrindo is providing UMKM-based entrepreneurship training for 25 journalists, as well as assistance in creating reading parks for students in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. The recipient schools include SD Negeri 05 Tarok Dipo in Bukittinggi and SD Kartika I-10 in Padang Timur, Padang city," said Randi Anto.
Through the PKBL program, Perum Jamkrindo has consistently provided assistance in the form of reading parks in various cities, including Sembalun, Sibolga, and now West Sumatra.
In terms of performance, in 2017, Perum Jamkrindo successfully recorded a guarantee volume of IDR 98.10 trillion for Non-KUR and IDR 50.47 trillion for KUR, with 2,843,836 UMKMs guaranteed for Non-KUR and 2,227,784 for KUR.
In 2018, Perum Jamkrindo continues to make improvements by prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness to face increasingly significant business challenges. The company is committed to better preparing all departments within the organization to enhance its business operations.

Randi emphasized the importance of solid coordination and effective communication between the board of directors, management, regional offices, branch offices, and service units throughout Indonesia.
