Perum Jamkrindo has received the BUMN Performance Excellence Award 2017 for its outstanding performance in establishing a performance management and control system based on excellence. This award evaluates the company's business performance achievements, based on the Performance Excellence System, to achieve the core values of BUMN, which include Integrity, Strong National Leadership, and Global Mindset, as it aims to become a world-class company.
The award, presented by the Ministry of BUMN through the BUMN Excellence Forum, was handed over by the Chair of the BUMN Advisory Board, Wahyu Hidayat, to Alia Nur Fitri, Head of the Planning and Development Division of Perum Jamkrindo, in Jakarta on Monday (November 6th). This recognition is based on the evaluation of BUMN performance using the Excellent Performance Criteria (KPKU) to enhance the competitiveness of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in global competition.
Separately, the Acting CEO of Perum Jamkrindo, I. Rusdonobanu, stated that Perum Jamkrindo is committed to improving its performance in managing the company to bring significant benefits to stakeholders and the broader community, especially in providing guarantees to MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) and cooperatives.
"We are grateful that Perum Jamkrindo is now ranked among the top 33 BUMNs with a 'Good Performance' rating. This award doesn't make us complacent; instead, it motivates us to continue striving for even better performance in serving MSMEs," said I. Rusdonobanu.
To boost the competitiveness of BUMNs in global competition, the Ministry of BUMN continues to improve by implementing a performance management and control system based on excellence. This system, known as the Excellent Performance Criteria (KPKU), has been applied by 109 BUMNs, including PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (RNI), which saw its ranking rise to 'Good Performance' during the 2016 assessment period. Perum Jamkrindo is now among the 33 BUMNs with good performance.
KPKU serves as a reference in managing BUMNs towards achieving excellent performance. It is also a tool for self-assessment and feedback for each state-owned company. The evaluation focuses on seven criteria: Leadership, Strategic Planning, Customer Focus, Measurement, Analysis, and Knowledge Management, Workforce Focus, Operations Focus, and Results Criteria, with a total achievable score of 1000.
