Hundreds of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) directors and commissioners attended the Halal Bihalal 1438 H event with the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Rini Soemarno. The event, themed "Silaturahmi Memperkuat Bakti untuk Negeri" (Strengthening Devotion to the Nation through Friendship), was held at the Toko Merah building in the Old Town of Jakarta on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
Among the hundreds of BUMN officials present were the President Commissioner of PT KBN (Persero) Irjen Pol (Ret.) Ngadino and his team, Director of Finance, Investment, and Risk Management of Perum Jamkrindo I. Rusdonobanu, Director of Operations and Network of Perum Jamkrindo R. Sophia Alizsa, and Corporate Secretary of Perum Jamkrindo Abdul Bari.
The band from PT KBN (Persero) performed at the Halal Bihalal event, with a vocalist from one of the BUMN Ambassadors, Siska.
Minister of SOEs Rini Soemarno said that many activities were carried out by BUMN during the holy month of Ramadan, particularly social activities such as providing aid to those in need.
Minister Rini also appreciated the performance of BUMN in handling the Lebaran homecoming (mudik) this year. From land, sea, and air transportation to travel insurance, she noted that the services this year were much better than the previous year.
"I thank all BUMN companies that have worked hard to make the homecoming services a success," said Rini Soemarno.
The President Director of PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI) Agus Andiyani said that his company was honored to host the BUMN Halal Bihalal event. Toko Merah is one of 524 historic buildings managed by PT PPI.
Toko Merah was built during the Dutch VOC era in 1730 AD. He hopes that in the future, BUMN companies can work together to utilize these historic buildings.
