JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Rini Soemarno hopes that the 'goddesses' of BUMN can create synergy.
The 'goddesses' of BUMN chosen for the 2017 Dewi BUMN award were selected by the Forum of Public Relations (Humas) of BUMN for their achievements and contributions to improving the performance of state-owned enterprises.
"I want to emphasize that BUMN is part of our daily lives. When you wake up in the morning and turn on the electricity, you're using BUMN products (PLN). When you drink coffee or boil water, you're using gas from PGN or Pertamina. When you leave home and fill up your gas tank, it's Pertamina. If you take the KRL, you're using KAI," said Rini at the BUMN Marketeers Awards 2017 event at Kota Kasablanka, South Jakarta, on Wednesday evening, May 3, 2017.
Rini stressed this point because it's important that each BUMN company continues to synergize and strengthen one another in order to give the best for the nation.
"For example, KAI should strive to be better. Telkomsel also needs to provide the best connection," she added.
Rini also appreciated the BUMN Marketeers Awards 2017 program initiated by the Founder and Chairman of MarkPlus Inc., Hermawan Kartajaya.
"Thank you, Pak Hermawan, for this program (BUMN Marketeers Awards 2017), which unites BUMNs, so that their synergy can contribute to achieving the 2017 target of Rp 205 trillion. The goal is, after we gain profit, we should be able to provide programs that create welfare," she explained.
She hopes this program continues so that BUMNs are aware of the importance of branding and serving the public to promote greater prosperity.
"For the 'goddesses' of BUMN, you need to be more persistent. If you're a woman, you should be more assertive and detail-oriented. I believe that women are more detail-oriented, and I hope BUMN can advance further with the 'goddesses' of BUMN," she concluded. (Source: Metrotvnews.com)
