PONTIANAK – Jamkrindo is committed to supporting credit guarantees for recipients of People's Business Credit (KUR).
In 2016, Jamkrindo guaranteed a total of Rp 650 billion in KUR. In 2017, Jamkrindo Pontianak Branch Head, Dody Novarianto, stated that the company is targeting a 30 percent increase in guarantees.
"Specifically for KUR guaranteed by Jamkrindo for BNI, the amount is Rp 150 billion. The guarantee figure for BNI is still relatively small. In 2017, the government will distribute Rp 110 trillion in KUR, and our target in West Kalimantan is also increasing. We aim to raise the guaranteed KUR for all banks by 30 percent from the previous year, or around Rp 800 billion," said Dody.
Dody emphasized that Jamkrindo is committed to supporting state-owned enterprises (BUMN) in West Kalimantan, particularly those involved in financing MSMEs that are not yet bankable. This support allows banks to introduce and market their products effectively. Additionally, Jamkrindo provides management consulting services to both banks and MSMEs to ensure targeted program implementation.
"Our hope is that with proper socialization, the program will reach the right targets," he added.
