MAGELANG | Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo) is committed to providing financing guarantees for the development of several tourism villages around the Borobudur Temple tourist area in Magelang Regency, Central Java.
"We serve as a bridge between the community (micro, small, and medium enterprises in tourism villages) and financial institutions or funding sources to obtain loans for business development," said Perum Jamkrindo's Director of Human Resources, General Affairs, and Compliance, Nanang Waskito, in Magelang Regency on Friday (November 4).
Nanang conveyed this statement during the groundbreaking ceremony for the first phase of the village economic center, which includes a prayer room and toilets. This initiative is part of the "BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri, Sinergi BUMN Untuk Pariwisata" program in Karanganyar Village, Borobudur District, Magelang Regency.
He explained that through this tourism village development program, local communities with entrepreneurial potential will emerge, fostering the creative economy and encouraging community engagement with financial institutions. Additionally, the synergy among several state-owned enterprises (BUMN) will benefit Perum Jamkrindo, strengthening its presence alongside other BUMNs and bringing it closer to the community.
"Therefore, we are determined and committed to continuously fostering collaboration with all BUMNs in various activities that support the community," he stated.
Nanang hopes that the synergy among BUMNs in developing tourism villages will attract community interest and participation in enhancing tourism potential.
"Hopefully, this collaboration will encourage the community to preserve and develop tourism potential while also providing benefits for all participating BUMNs," he concluded.
