JAKARTA | Perum Jamkrindo has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FOGAPE, a Chilean guarantee company, to facilitate the exchange of information and expertise in credit guarantees between the two institutions. This partnership was established during the MSME Guarantee & Financing Forum, organized by the Ibero-American Guarantee Community on October 20-21, 2016, in Chile, South America.
The signing ceremony took place in Santiago, Chile, on Friday (October 21, 2016), with R. Sophia Aliza, Director of Operations and Network at Perum Jamkrindo, and Oscar Gonzales Narbona, Director of Fondo de Garantía Para Pequeños Empresarios (FOGAPE), representing their respective organizations.
Sophia Aliza emphasized that this collaboration allows both parties to develop mutual benefits by fostering a cooperative relationship for shared interests. The MoU aims to promote credit guarantee services, support the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives, and enhance guarantee systems and human resources.
"Both parties have agreed to exchange published information, including annual reports, periodic reports, and insights on credit services, national economic conditions, financial trends, and MSMEs," she stated.
The partnership will also enable both institutions to share economic, financial, and credit policy insights related to MSMEs, fostering business opportunities in their respective countries.
Additionally, with the support of Indonesian Ambassador to Chile, Philemon Arobaya, and the Indonesian Embassy in Chile (Embajada De La República De Indonesia), the Perum Jamkrindo delegation attended the MSME Guarantee & Financing Forum on October 22, 2016. At the forum, Perum Jamkrindo had the opportunity to serve as a key speaker, sharing experiences and insights into Indonesia’s MSME credit guarantee schemes.
The delegation included prominent officials such as: Braman Setyo – Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Perum Jamkrindo, Ida Noor Khomsiyati & Nasaruddin Umar – Members of the Supervisory Board, Dwi Ary Purnomo – Assistant Deputy for Legal Services, Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, Khoerur Roziqin – Head of the Deputy Division for Financial Services, Survey Services, and Consulting Services, Nanang Waskito – Director of HR, General Affairs, and Compliance at Perum Jamkrindo, Gatot Suprabowo – Director of PT Jamkrindo Syariah, Mahfudh Sudiyono – Head of Guarantee Administration Division, M. Natsir Rahmadi – Head of Legal Division, Nina Kurnia Dewi – Head of MSME Rating and Management Consulting Division, Achmad Sonhadji – Head of Internal Audit.
This agreement is expected to strengthen international collaboration in the MSME sector, enhancing financial inclusion and economic development for both Indonesia and Chile. (Public Relations)
