JAKARTA | Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo) and PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Banten (Bank Banten) signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on Credit Guarantee and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on banking services.
The PKS signing covers credit guarantees, including Employee Credit Guarantee, Multipurpose Credit Guarantee secured by Property, Construction Credit and Procurement of Goods and Services, as well as Bank Guarantee. Meanwhile, the MoU pertains to financing facilities for Perum Jamkrindo employees.
The signing was carried out by Perum Jamkrindo’s Director of Guarantee Business Bakti Prasetyo, Director of Human Resources, General Affairs, and Compliance Nanang Waskito, and President Director of BPD Banten Heru Sukanto at the Perum Jamkrindo Head Office on Tuesday (30/8/2016).
Bakti stated that the partnership with Bank Banten is considered strategic and aims to enhance the performance of both parties. "This partnership cooperation is highly strategic and aims to improve the performance of each stakeholder, both in increasing credit/financing realization by Bank Banten and increasing guarantee volume by Perum Jamkrindo," said Perum Jamkrindo's Director of Guarantee Business Bakti Prasetyo.
It is hoped that this collaboration will directly benefit the public and corporations by utilizing credit/financing products, especially in Employee Credit Guarantee, Financing Facilities for Employees, Multipurpose Credit Guarantee secured by Property, Construction Credit and Procurement of Goods and Services, as well as Bank Guarantee. "Another goal of this cooperation is to strengthen synergy between the two financial institutions and support the smooth operation of both companies' business activities," Bakti stated.
Perum Jamkrindo’s Director of Human Resources, General Affairs, and Compliance, Nanang Waskito, also welcomed the MoU for employee financing provided by Bank Banten. He expressed hope that it would benefit employees. "Hopefully, this cooperation can be utilized optimally by the employees," said Nanang.
On this occasion, Heru expressed his gratitude for becoming a partner with Perum Jamkrindo in sharing credit business risks. "This cooperation will certainly enhance performance and add value for both parties," said Heru.
BPD Banten, he continued, is a new player in the credit business, including construction and other sectors. The shift in business patterns from previously focusing on micro-businesses requires the company to establish more partnerships with various parties to improve corporate performance and results. "I hope this partnership will generate real business volume between Perum Jamkrindo and Jamkrida," he said.
In accordance with Law No. 1 of 2016 on guarantees, Perum Jamkrindo is supported by banking institutions and financial or non-financial institutions to provide credit, financing, financing based on sharia principles, or service contracts to MSMEs. Jamkrindo is always ready to contribute by absorbing financing risks disbursed by banking and non-banking institutions to MSMEs through credit guarantees. In addition to guaranteeing credit programs such as KUR, the guarantee company has also provided guarantees for non-KUR MSME credits disbursed by banking institutions.
To improve service to its partners, Perum Jamkrindo has established a service network across Indonesia. Currently, Jamkrindo has a total of 56 branch offices and 13 service unit offices. (Public Relations)
