TARAKAN - In commemoration of its 46th anniversary, Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo) Tarakan City Branch organized various social activities, including a healthy exercise session and free health check-up services in collaboration with the national humanitarian organization, Pos Keadilan Peduli Ummat (PKPU) Tarakan City.
Held at Pasar Tumpah, Datu Adil Stadium, Tarakan City, on Sunday morning (5/6), the social event was attended by hundreds of Tarakan City residents. In addition, Jamkrindo also distributed attractive prizes to visitors of Pasar Tumpah who participated in the competitions.
Head of Regional Office VIII Jamkrindo, Adnan Lukman Hatta, stated in his speech that Perum Jamkrindo currently has 56 branches spread across Indonesia. The Tarakan City Branch is the 32nd branch, overseeing all cities and regencies in North Kalimantan, including Tarakan City, Bulungan Regency, Malinau Regency, Nunukan Regency, and Tana Tidung Regency. "This is to fully support government programs and expand loan access for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises and Cooperatives (UMKMK)," he explained.
Head of the Jamkrindo Tarakan City Branch, Iskandar Permana, stated that this event aims to introduce Perum Jamkrindo to the public, especially UMKMK entrepreneurs in Tarakan City. "Insya Allah, during the upcoming Ramadan, we will organize another social activity, namely an iftar gathering with partners and orphans," he added.
As the only state-owned enterprise in the guarantee sector, Iskandar hopes that Perum Jamkrindo can become a leading guarantee company supporting national economic growth by providing guarantees for UMKMK business development and offering broad, high-quality, and beneficial services to the public.
