Palu, Metrosulawesi.com – In the socialization event of Law No. 1 of 2016 on Quality Assurance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Credit by the Legislation Body of the Indonesian House of Representatives in the Polibu Room of the Central Sulawesi Governor's Office, Wednesday (4/27/2016), the Director of Business Guarantee of Perum Jamkrido Bakti Prasetyo said that with the ratification of the Guarantee Law, it will become a legal umbrella for guarantee institutions in Indonesia.
According to him, after decades of operating as a guarantee company, there have been no legal regulations that are on the same level as the regulations used by other financial institutions.
"If this condition is allowed to continue, it is feared that it will place Jamkrido and the guarantee industry in a weak position," said Bakti Parsetyo in Palu, Wednesday (4/27/2016).
Bakti said that the Guarantee Law will improve the quality assurance business carried out by his party.
Currently, Perum Jamkrido has 56 branch offices (kacab) throughout Indonesia and has also established 10 service unit offices at the district/city level.
In addition, the Indonesian Credit Guarantee (Jamkrindo) targets credit guarantees for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in 2016 to reach IDR115 trillion.
Bakti Prasetyo said that until April 15, 2016, the realization of credit guarantees through banks had reached IDR38 trillion. (metrosulawesi.com)
