Jamkrindo Holds Public Relations and Marketing Training

Jakarta | Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo) held a workshop on communication, public relations, and marketing. The training was conducted with the aim of enhancing service quality for the public.

"By being equipped with good communication skills, we hope that Perum Jamkrindo's significant guarantee business potential can be achieved while also providing excellent service to our partners," said Perum Jamkrindo's President Director, Diding S. Anwar, during the opening of the training at the Adhiyana Wisma Antara Auditorium in Jakarta on Monday (07/03/2016).

Diding stated that communication and marketing are inseparable and play a crucial role in running a company.

The training featured speakers such as communication practitioner Aqua Dwipayana and senior journalist Nurcholis MA Basyari, who is also a member of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI). The two-day event also included a media visit to the editorial offices of Harian Kompas and Kompas TV.

Aqua Dwipayana emphasized that communication and public relations are vital in delivering messages to stakeholders. Additionally, building good relationships with the media is equally important. "No matter how good our programs are, if they cannot be communicated effectively through the media to the public, then they amount to nothing," said Aqua.

Meanwhile, Nurcholis MA Basyari stated that for messages to be well received by the mass media, news must be interesting, simple, and efficient. One aspect that needs optimization after establishing good relations with the media is the creation of press releases in the form of well-written news articles or effective news photos. "Press releases must be important and engaging, with the hope that the media will pick up and publish our news," he said.

During the training event, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was also signed between Perum Jamkrindo and a synergy of four state-owned enterprises (BUMN) in the publishing and media cluster. The four BUMN under the National Publishing Network and Communication (NPNC) include Perum LKBN Antara, Balai Pustaka, PFN, and Perum Percetakan Negara.

The MoU was signed directly by the directors of all participating BUMN. This agreement aims to strengthen business synergy among all involved state-owned enterprises.

The training concluded with a presentation on Perum Jamkrindo's services to the participants. A total of 69 participants attended the event, representing all Jamkrindo branches across Indonesia, regional offices, public relations, and marketing divisions. (team)
