Jakarta | Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo) held an auction for 26 motor vehicles. The auction was organized by the company's General Division in collaboration with the auction company PT Balai Lelang Artha Gasia. The auction took place on Tuesday (1/03/2016) in the parking lot of Perum Jamkrindo, Kemayoran, Jakarta.
The management stated that the auctioned 26 vehicles consisted of 20 four-wheeled vehicles and 6 two-wheeled vehicles. The purpose of this auction was to rejuvenate the company's transportation fleet to support better company performance in 2016.
The Director of PT Balai Lelang Artha Gasia, Hening Cahyani, said that participant enthusiasm was quite high. This was evident from the large number of participants from the Greater Jakarta area. "The auction was conducted openly, with around 40 participants present," she said.
PT Balai Lelang Artha Gasia and Perum Jamkrindo had previously promoted the auction in several capital city print media and distributed leaflets. The starting bid price for cars ranged from the lowest at Rp. 35 million to Rp. 86 million, with a participant deposit of Rp. 20 million. Meanwhile, for motorcycles, the lowest base price was Rp. 2 million, with an initial deposit of Rp. 1 million.
Rizky, one of the auction participants from Harapan Indah, Bekasi, expressed great interest and found the auction helpful. Although his target car, a Honda Stream 1.7 MT from 2007, slipped away, he remained enthusiastic about the auction. "Other participants bid above my offer, which is unfortunate, but there's nothing I can do," he said after the auction.
The auction, which started at 10:00 AM, concluded at 1:00 PM. All the auctioned vehicles were successfully sold. The management expressed satisfaction with the auction's success and hoped it would improve efficiency and boost the company's performance further. (team)
