Jakarta | Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo) was recognized as the best state-owned enterprise (BUMN) in the 70th Independence Day program "BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri." This initiative was held for the first time by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises and will be conducted annually.
Perum Jamkrindo, along with other state-owned enterprises in five provinces, received awards as the best BUMN for various social and community grant programs.
"We want BUMN to provide benefits to the wider community. Congratulations to the winners," said Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno while presenting the awards at the 70th Independence Day inauguration event, "BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri," in Bandung last weekend.
Jamkrindo, along with ten other state-owned enterprises, was among the top five provinces in implementing the program. Jamkrindo, which carried out the program in Aceh Province, outperformed hundreds of other BUMN that implemented the same program in 34 provinces.
President Director of Perum Jamkrindo, Diding S. Anwar, expressed his gratitude for the award.
"We are ready to carry out this program again because the community response has been very positive," said Diding.
The inauguration event, held at Hotel Panghegar Bandung, featured a video conference between the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises and 17 students from Aceh, along with several Acehnese veterans. During the event, the students shared their experiences in the "Siswa Mengenal Nusantara" (SMN) program.
Meanwhile, the veterans received assistance through the veteran home renovation program, all of which were part of the "BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri" initiative.
Previously, several mandatory and non-mandatory programs were conducted by Perum Jamkrindo and other state-owned enterprises in Aceh. These programs were carried out from July to December 2015. (Source: Kontan.co.id; http://keuangan.kontan.co.id/news/jamkrindo-terpilih-sebagai-bumn-terbaik)
