Jamkrindo-Bima Multi Finance Collaboration in Vehicle Financing Guarantee

Jakarta | Perum Jamkrindo and PT Bima Multi Finance signed a cooperation agreement (PKS) in the field of four-wheeled motor vehicle financing guarantees. The PKS was signed directly by the directors of both parties at the Perum Jamkrindo Building, Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Tuesday (24/11/2015).

Perum Jamkrindo Director Nanang Waskito stated that this cooperation agreement is a strategic partnership aimed at improving the performance of each stakeholder to increase the realization of Credit/Financing for PT Bima Multi Finance and the guarantee volume, particularly for Perum Jamkrindo. This agreement was also made to encourage broader access to and provision of financial services for the public.

The signing was carried out by Perum Jamkrindo Director Nanang Waskito, PT Bima Multi Finance President Director Wina Ratnawati, and PT Bima Multi Finance Director Djuanda Setiawan.

According to the memorandum of understanding, the guaranteed parties in this agreement include Prospective Civil Servants/Civil Servants (CPNS/PNS), Permanent Company Employees, Professionals, Contract Employees, Individual Entrepreneurs, and Business Entities receiving Four-Wheeled Motor Vehicle Financing from the guarantee recipient. Financing Guarantee Applications up to a plafond value of Rp200,000,000 (two hundred million rupiah) are processed under a Conditional Automatic Cover (CAC) scheme, with Perum Jamkrindo guaranteeing 75% (seventy-five percent) of the realized financing.

Perum Jamkrindo is optimistic that the guarantee business will continue to grow. This prediction is based on the government's and stakeholders' strong commitment to distributing People's Business Credit (KUR), which this year has reached Rp20 trillion, as well as the high enthusiasm of the financing industry in expanding credit access.

This year, Jamkrindo targets credit guarantees of Rp77 trillion in 2015, an increase from the previous year's Rp40.7 trillion. Of the Rp77 trillion in guarantees, Rp20 trillion is allocated for People's Business Credit, while Rp57 trillion is for retail credit.

To enhance service for its business partners, Perum Jamkrindo, which currently has 35 (thirty-five) branch offices, has also established 21 (twenty-one) Service Unit Offices (KUP) at the district/city level. * (team)
