Perum Jamkrindo, along with relevant stakeholders, continues to promote the growth of MSMEs in the maritime and agribusiness sectors through training and mentoring for fishermen and farmers.

Ambon | Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo), together with Kodam XVI Pattimura, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), and the local government, is committed to advancing the maritime, forestry, and plantation sectors in the provinces of Maluku and North Maluku. This commitment is marked by the organization of the Marine, Forestry, and Plantation Cultivation Training program.

“We are very proud and grateful for Perum Jamkrindo’s participation in contributing to the program that enhances the economic potential of the maritime, forestry, and plantation sectors, which we refer to as blue gold and green gold,” said Pangdam Pattimura Major General TNI Doni Monardo while opening the Marine, Forestry, and Plantation Cultivation Training and School Rehabilitation Program by Kodam Pattimura XVI/Pattimura in Ambon on Tuesday (10/20/2015) afternoon.

The Head of Regional Office III Perum Jamkrindo, Hamim Bugi Afianto, stated that this collaboration aims to improve the economy, particularly in the maritime, agribusiness, forestry, and plantation sectors.

“We fully support this initiative, as the government is currently focused on advancing the maritime sector,” said Hamim.
During the event, Jamkrindo emphasized that training programs could encourage groups of fishermen and farmers to enhance their skills and knowledge in their respective fields. Ultimately, this could positively impact the economic well-being of the community.

Amid the series of activities, Perum Jamkrindo also provided a Community Development Assistance fund of Rp84 million for the rehabilitation of school buildings in Maluku.

During the event, the Pangdam delivered a presentation on fisheries and plantations to an audience comprising leaders of district/city DPRD in Maluku and the Maluku Provincial Government.
The event also featured technical training on palm sugar production and fish farming, specifically as part of the collaboration between the TNI and Perum Jamkrindo. The training sessions included materials on vannamei shrimp cultivation, ornamental fish hatchery, lobster farming, sea cucumber farming, fish health management, ornamental fish packaging, red jambon tree cultivation, and seaweed farming.

This training serves as a concrete effort to enhance the knowledge of farmers and fishermen on how to improve their performance and expertise to achieve more optimal results.

Regarding the maritime sector, Perum Jamkrindo has continuously strengthened its cooperation with various stakeholders. Last April, Jamkrindo signed an MoU with BNI for financing guarantees in the maritime sector.
Maluku Deputy Governor Zeth Sahuburua stated that the TNI program in partnership with Perum Jamkrindo should be emulated and serve as a model for other state-owned enterprises (BUMN). “Because this BUMN-TNI collaboration benefits the community, let’s encourage other BUMNs to join. We are open to partnerships,” he said. (team)
