Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo) has signed a cooperation agreement (PKS) with PT Semen Bosowa Maros. This partnership covers the guarantee of cement distribution, aiming to secure distributors in the sale of cement.
The agreement was signed by Nanang Waskito, Director of Non-Bank Guarantees at Perum Jamkrindo, and Evyana Muktirahayu, Director of Finance and Administration at PT Semen Bosowa Maros, in Jakarta on Monday (June 8, 2015). According to the agreement, the mechanism involves distributors submitting guarantee requests to PT Semen Bosowa Maros.
Perum Jamkrindo expressed its highest appreciation to PT Semen Bosowa Maros for the collaboration in this Cement Distribution Guarantee. The objective is to enhance the performance of both parties. PT Semen Bosowa is one of the largest cement business operators in Eastern Indonesia, with a national market share of approximately 8%.
In 2015, Perum Jamkrindo held a strategic position marked by growth in the company’s equity and assets. As of April 30, 2015, the total assets of the company amounted to IDR 10.360 trillion, an increase of 3.4% compared to the same period the previous year (IDR 10.019 trillion). Meanwhile, total equity as of April 30, 2015, reached IDR 8.590 trillion, an increase of 2.06% from April 30, 2014 (IDR 8.416 trillion). The profit for the year as of April 30, 2015, was IDR 173.301 billion (compared to IDR 206.132 billion on April 30, 2014), with a total gearing ratio of 10.56 times.
Currently, Perum Jamkrindo operates 35 branch offices and 21 KUP (Service Units) across regencies and cities throughout Indonesia. With this network, it is expected to contribute positively to supporting economic development and providing services across all branch offices in Indonesia. It also fully supports government programs aimed at further empowering Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises, and Cooperatives (MSMEs).
Additionally, Perum Jamkrindo has a subsidiary, PT Penjaminan Jamkrindo Syariah. At present, Perum Jamkrindo is conducting studies related to capital participation in several companies, including the National Reinsurance Company, Pefindo Credit Rating, PKPI, Investment Management Companies, and Insurance Companies.
