Jakarta, December 23, 2014 - Perum Jamkrindo today celebrated its 44th anniversary with a thanksgiving event held at the Jamkrindo Building, Jl. Angkasa Blok B-9 Kav. 6, Bandar Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The celebration began with the traditional cutting of the *tumpeng* (cone-shaped rice dish) by the President Director of Perum Jamkrindo, Diding S. Anwar. The event was attended by the management team, all employees, and representatives from Perum Jamkrindo's subsidiary, PT. Jamkrindo Syariah.
This year's 44th-anniversary celebration carried the theme "We Exist for Indonesian MSMEs and Cooperatives (UMKMK)." As part of the commemoration, Perum Jamkrindo organized a series of activities, including sports competitions, blood donation drives, charity events, essay writing contests, and photojournalism competitions.
The history of Perum Jamkrindo dates back to the establishment of the Cooperative Financial Services Institution (LJKK) under the Decree of the Minister of Transmigration and Cooperatives No. 99/Kpts/MENTRANSKOP/1970 on July 1, 1970.
Based on Government Regulation No. 51 of 1981, dated December 23, 1981, regarding the Establishment of the State-Owned Enterprise for Cooperative Financial Development (Perum PKK), the government merged LJKK into Perum PKK. Subsequently, under Government Regulation No. 95 of 2000, dated November 7, 2000, regarding the State-Owned Enterprise for Business Development (Perum Sarana Pengembangan Usaha), Perum PKK was renamed Perum Sarana Pengembangan Usaha.
Finally, based on Government Regulation No. 41 of 2008, dated May 19, 2008, regarding the State-Owned Enterprise for Credit Guarantees (Perum Jamkrindo), Perum Sarana Pengembangan Usaha was renamed Perum Jamkrindo.
Considering the historical merger of LJKK into Perum PKK, the founding milestone of Perum Jamkrindo is recognized and celebrated every July 1, in reference to the establishment date of LJKK. Thus, Perum Jamkrindo has now reached the age of 44 years.
