Jakarta – In an effort to build relationships and foster camaraderie among fellow Asippindo members and other stakeholders in the non-bank financial services industry, Asippindo, in cooperation with Perum Jamkrindo, organized the "Roundtable on Cooperative & SME Credit Guarantees" on July 29, 2013, at the Sumba Room, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta. The event, themed "The Role of Credit Guarantee Companies in Supporting Cooperatives and SMEs," was held to raise awareness of the role and functions of credit guarantee companies in supporting the development of cooperatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The roundtable was attended by speakers including Dr. Darmin Nasution (Chairman of ISEI, former Governor of Bank Indonesia), Ir. Dumoly F. Pardede, MBA (Deputy Commissioner for the Supervision of Non-Bank Financial Institutions II, OJK), Dr. Choirul Djamhari (Deputy Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs in the field of Business Development & Restructuring), Dr. Aviliani (Secretary of the National Economic Committee, Independent Commissioner of PT. Bank BRI), and Eko B. Supriyanto (Editor-in-Chief of Infobank Magazine), with moderator Moch. Ihsanudin (Director of Supervision for Other Financial Service Institutions, OJK).
