Jakarta — In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan and in anticipation of its 55th anniversary on July 1, 2025, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) has launched its Safari Ramadan initiative across multiple regions of Indonesia. The program, rooted in social outreach, includes the distribution of free food packages, donations for orphans, and the provision of prayer equipment for neighborhood musalas.
Jamkrindo President Director Akhmad Purwakajaya said the initiative reflects the company’s role—under the umbrella of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG)—in supporting communities through its corporate social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) programs.
“This is part of our ongoing commitment to be present where it matters most—in the heart of the people,” Purwakajaya noted. “This year’s Ramadan theme, ‘Spreading Kindness, Earning Blessings, Toward Victory,’ guides every step of our outreach.”
“Our social programs—such as distributing food packages and supporting orphans—have become part of our regular initiatives, reflecting our dedication to care and solidarity,” he added in a public statement.
The Safari Ramadan was implemented through 10 Jamkrindo work units spread across Indonesia, including Serang, Sorong, Palembang, Bandung, Madiun, Banjarmasin, Kupang, Yogyakarta, Tanjung Pinang, and Jakarta.
In the capital city of Jakarta, Jamkrindo distributed 150 food packages, provided support for 30 children from the Al-Andalusia Orphanage, and donated prayer items to Musholla Al-Huda. The assistance was symbolically handed over by President Director Akhmad Purwakajaya and Director of Guarantee Business Henry Panjaitan to representatives of the orphanage on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
Nationally, the company delivered 6,000 food packages, donated to 386 orphans, and supported 10 musalas with prayer supplies.
“We hope this Safari Ramadan serves as a moment to strengthen our gratitude, deepen our community ties, and bring abundant, meaningful blessings to all,” said Purwakajaya.
The Head of the Al-Andalusia Orphanage expressed appreciation for the support: “We sincerely thank Jamkrindo. May the company continue to thrive and contribute to the betterment of society.”
