Jakarta — In honor of the holy month of Ramadan and in the lead-up to its 55th anniversary on July 1, 2025, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) has launched a series of Safari Ramadan programs in various regions across the country. These initiatives include the distribution of free food packages, donations for orphaned children, and the provision of prayer equipment and support to local musalas.
Jamkrindo President Director Akhmad Purwakajaya stated that, as a member of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), the company remains committed to supporting society through its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs.
“These efforts reflect our commitment to being present in the lives of the communities we serve,” said Purwakajaya. “This year’s Ramadan theme, ‘Spreading Kindness, Gaining Blessings Toward Victory’, speaks to the heart of our mission.”
“Our social initiatives—ranging from the distribution of food packages to aid for orphaned children—are part of our regular outreach, rooted in a spirit of compassion and service,” he added in a press release.
The Safari Ramadan activities took place in ten cities across Indonesia, including Serang, Sorong, Palembang, Bandung, Madiun, Banjarmasin, Kupang, Yogyakarta, Tanjung Pinang, and Jakarta.
In Tanjung Pinang, Jamkrindo distributed 100 free food packages, provided support to 34 orphans, and donated prayer supplies to a local musala. The assistance was symbolically presented by Ivan Soeparno, Director of Human Resources, General Affairs, and Risk Management, to the Insan Cita Orphanage in Tanjung Pinang.
On a national scale, Jamkrindo delivered 6,000 food packages, extended donations to 386 orphaned children, and provided prayer equipment to 11 musalas.
“We hope this Safari Ramadan inspires deeper gratitude in all of us, strengthens bonds of togetherness, and brings abundant blessings that uplift the lives of many,” said Purwakajaya.
Putra Zulkarnain, Chairman of the Insan Cita Orphanage in Tanjung Pinang, expressed his gratitude: “Thank you to Jamkrindo. May the company continue to grow and make meaningful contributions to improving community welfare.”
