Jakarta — In observance of the holy month of Ramadan and as part of its 55th anniversary celebration set for July 1, 2025, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) has launched its annual Safari Ramadan program across several regions of Indonesia. The initiative encompasses a range of social outreach activities, including the distribution of free basic food packages, donations for orphans, and the provision of prayer equipment to local musalas.
Jamkrindo President Director Akhmad Purwakajaya stated that, as a proud member of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), the company remains committed to its social role through the implementation of its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program.
“These efforts are an expression of Jamkrindo’s dedication to being present in the heart of communities across Indonesia,” said Purwakajaya. “This year’s Ramadan theme, ‘Spreading Kindness, Gaining Blessings Toward Victory’, guides the spirit of our initiatives.”
“Our regular programs—distributing food packages and supporting orphans—are acts of social care we carry out consistently. We hope this assistance will bring meaningful benefits to the people,” he added in an official statement.
The Safari Ramadan program was implemented in ten operational units throughout the archipelago, including in Serang, Sorong, Palembang, Bandung, Madiun, Banjarmasin, Kupang, Yogyakarta, Tanjung Pinang, and Jakarta.
In Madiun, Jamkrindo distributed 200 food packages, extended support to 27 orphaned children, and donated prayer equipment to Musala Miftahul Jannah. The symbolic handover was carried out by Ivan Soeparno, Director of Human Capital, General Affairs, and Risk Management, to the administrators of Lentera Hati Orphanage in East Java on March 11, 2025.
At the national level, Jamkrindo distributed 6,000 food packages, provided support to 386 orphans, and donated prayer supplies to 11 musalas throughout Indonesia.
“May this Safari Ramadan inspire greater gratitude in all of us, strengthen our bonds of brotherhood, and bring an abundance of meaningful blessings,” said Purwakajaya.
Lilik Susanto, Chairperson of Lentera Hati Orphanage, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the contribution. “We sincerely thank Jamkrindo. May the company continue to grow and play a meaningful role in uplifting the welfare of our communities,” he said.
