Jakarta — As part of its Ramadan observance and in celebration of its upcoming 55th anniversary on July 1, 2025, Indonesian state-owned credit guarantee firm PT Jamkrindo has launched a nationwide “Ramadan Safari” initiative, bringing aid and community support to various regions across the country.
Through the Ramadan Safari, Jamkrindo is carrying out a series of social outreach efforts—including the distribution of free basic food packages, financial assistance for orphans, and donations of prayer equipment and support for local prayer rooms (musalas).
Akhmad Purwakajaya, President Director of Jamkrindo, stated that the initiative is part of the company’s broader Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program.
“This effort reflects Jamkrindo’s commitment to standing with communities, especially during this sacred month, in line with this year’s Ramadan theme: ‘Spreading Kindness, Attaining Blessings, Achieving Triumph,’” Purwakajaya said in a press release.
“These social initiatives, such as food distribution and support for orphans, are part of our regular efforts to demonstrate social care. We hope this assistance brings meaningful impact to those who receive it,” he added.
The Ramadan Safari is being held in 10 of Jamkrindo’s regional offices across Indonesia, including in Serang, Sorong, Palembang, Bandung, Madiun, Banjarmasin, Kupang, Purwokerto, Tanjung Pinang, and Jakarta.
In Serang, Jamkrindo donated 100 food packages, provided aid to 50 orphans, and supported the Jamiatul Mustakin prayer room with religious equipment. The symbolic handover was led by Jamkrindo’s Director of Guarantee Business, Henry Panjaitan, and received by representatives of the Nur El Qolam Foundation and Al Kahfi Foundation’s Serang branch on March 4, 2025.
Nationally, Jamkrindo has distributed 6,000 food packages, extended support to 386 orphans, and donated prayer equipment to 11 prayer rooms.
“May this Ramadan Safari foster greater gratitude among us, strengthen our social bonds, and bring blessings that benefit many,” Purwakajaya said.
Muhajir, Chairperson of the Nur El Qolam Foundation, expressed his appreciation for the support. “We thank Jamkrindo for its generosity. May Jamkrindo continue to thrive and make lasting contributions to public welfare,” he said.
