Jakarta – PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) is reaffirming its commitment to increase its contributions to the nation. Established on July 1, 1970, the company is dedicated to continually enhancing its strategic role in the development of national SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) and improving the welfare of society through various corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental activities aligned with the principle of Creating Shared Value (CSV).
In his speech, Jamkrindo’s President Director, Akhmad Purwakajaya, stated that the company’s 54th anniversary serves as a pivotal moment to strengthen its strategic role in enhancing financial accessibility for SMEs. This commitment is demonstrated through the company’s wide range of guarantee services, which facilitate SMEs in obtaining financial access from financial institutions.
To support this commitment, Akhmad Purwakajaya explained that Jamkrindo has undergone a comprehensive transformation to meet future challenges and opportunities. This transformation forms the foundation for the company’s sustainable performance, aiming to achieve top-tier revenue growth, cost efficiency, excellent service, and accountable and prudent business management. All of this is intended to provide the best services to bridge the financial accessibility of SMEs.
“We believe that SMEs have great potential to drive economic growth, create jobs, and improve societal welfare. Therefore, our role as a credit guarantee institution is crucial in ensuring the sustainability and growth of this sector,” he said.
The 54th anniversary celebration, themed “Championing SMEs: Building a Stronger Nation,” highlights Jamkrindo’s steadfast commitment to supporting SMEs as the backbone of the national economy. Akhmad Purwakajaya added that this theme reflects the company’s ongoing dedication to creating both economic and social value, contributing to the overall welfare of society.
In addition to the anniversary celebrations, Jamkrindo has carried out various social activities since March 2024, including distributing 5,400 Ramadan care packages, providing assistance to orphaned children, offering support to Quranic teachers and mosque caretakers, and donating worship equipment to local prayer rooms.
