For the umpteenth time, the leadership meeting (Rapim) of the Ministry of SOEs is being held. This time, Perum Jamkrindo is acting as the host. The Rapim is scheduled for Tuesday (1/10) at Jamkrindo’s headquarters.
“This time, we are the host. Hopefully, tomorrow’s Rapim will run smoothly and successfully,” said Head of General Division at Jamkrindo, Nina Kurnia Dewi, in Jakarta, Monday (1/10).
According to Nina, the meeting will be attended by the Minister of SOEs, Dahlan Iskan, and deputy ministers.
Previously, the Minister of SOEs had urged SOE Directors to attend the leadership meeting every Tuesday from 07:00 to 10:00 WIB. Dahlan stated that holding the Rapim every Tuesday would ensure efficiency and effectiveness for SOEs.
"If Monday is used for internal consolidation and preparing discussion points for Tuesday's meeting, then Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday can be used for execution. If the meeting is held on Wednesday or Thursday, it will disrupt the work rhythm, and Saturday-Sunday should be used for project site visits," Dahlan explained.
Dahlan made Rapim mandatory, stating that no excuses would be accepted for absence. He shared that during his tenure at PLN, the Tuesday leadership meetings allowed 50 decisions to be made each session.
"For two years at PLN, we always held meetings on Tuesdays, even rejecting invitations from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) and the Ministry of Finance. By having Rapim every Tuesday, I was able to make 50 decisions per session," said Dahlan.
Dahlan urged SOE Directors to attend the Tuesday meetings while also giving them more freedom to enhance the productivity of their companies.
"SOEs should not be burdened with excessive paperwork, reports, and unnecessary meetings," he emphasized.
