Jamkrindo Prioritizes Domestic Content (TKDN) in Procurement Processes

Jakarta – PT Jamkrindo continues to prioritize the use of Domestic Component Level (TKDN) in its procurement of goods and services, reinforcing its commitment to supporting local industries and national economic growth. This initiative aligns with the Domestic Product Utilization Program (P3DN), which aims to increase the competitiveness and productivity of Indonesian industries.

Jamkrindo’s President Director, Putrama Wahju Setyawan, emphasized that the company consistently prioritizes domestic components in its procurement strategy, in line with the "Proudly Made in Indonesia" National Movement initiated by the government.

"By increasing the use of local products, we hope to enhance national industrial utilization, improve efficiency, and boost the global competitiveness of Indonesian industries," said Putrama in a press release.

Commitment to Increasing TKDN Utilization

As of Q1 2022, Jamkrindo has successfully implemented a TKDN realization rate of 73.77%, demonstrating its strong commitment to maximizing the use of domestic products.

Beyond implementing TKDN, Jamkrindo actively involves MSMEs (UMKM) in its procurement process, ensuring their participation in the company’s supply chain. In 2021 alone, hundreds of MSMEs were engaged in Jamkrindo’s procurement transactions, totaling Rp 89.35 billion.

Encouraging MSME Participation Through Digital Procurement

To expand MSME engagement, Jamkrindo actively utilizes the Digital Market (PaDi UMKM), a platform initiated by the Ministry of SOEs (BUMN) that facilitates transactions between state-owned enterprises and MSMEs across Indonesia.

Through PaDi UMKM, MSMEs gain greater access to corporate and government procurement opportunities, increasing their market reach and ensuring sustainable business growth.

"Supporting MSMEs is essential for economic recovery. We remain committed to empowering MSMEs and strengthening the 'Proudly Made in Indonesia' campaign through our procurement practices," Putrama added.
