Solo – On the second day of Eid al-Fitr 1443 H, Tuesday (May 3, 2022), PT Jamkrindo distributed 1,000 food packages to residents in Solo, Central Java. The distribution was carried out door-to-door while adhering to health protocols as part of ongoing COVID-19 precautions.
This initiative, conducted in the spirit of Halal Bihalal for Eid al-Fitr 1443 H, follows similar distributions held during Ramadan in various regions across Indonesia as part of Jamkrindo’s Safari Ramadan program. During Safari Ramadan, the company also provided food aid, financial assistance for orphans, and distributed Qurans to mosques.
PT Jamkrindo President Director, Putrama Wahju Setyawan, emphasized that the distribution of 1,000 food packages reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to being present in and supporting communities.
"Beyond our core business in credit guarantee services, we have a social responsibility to directly engage with the community. This distribution of 1,000 food packages is a testament to our commitment and presence in society," Putrama stated.
He also highlighted the spiritual lessons of Ramadan in relation to Eid al-Fitr, emphasizing personal and social growth. "One of the key lessons of Ramadan is self-improvement, including enhancing our faith, devotion, and social responsibility, particularly in sharing with others. We hope this assistance brings joy and blessings to the community during Eid," he added.
In addition to the Safari Ramadan program, Jamkrindo’s social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) initiatives run throughout the year, reaffirming the company’s commitment to both the community and the environment.
