Medan – PT Jamkrindo distributed 5,200 basic food packages and financial aid across various regions as part of its Ramadan Safari and 52nd-anniversary celebrations, which will culminate on July 1, 2022. The main focus of the Ramadan Safari includes food package distribution, donations to orphans, mobile tarawih prayers, and Quran donations to mosques.
President Director of PT Jamkrindo, Putrama Wahju Setyawan, stated that the Ramadan Safari is part of the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program. This initiative underscores Jamkrindo’s commitment to being present in communities, in line with this year’s Ramadan theme: ‘Strengthen Bonds, Purify Hearts, Care, and Share.’
"The distribution of food packages and financial aid to orphans is a regular initiative we carry out as part of our social responsibility. We hope this assistance provides meaningful benefits to the community," Putrama stated in a press release.
The Ramadan Safari is conducted throughout the holy month of Ramadan at 10 Jamkrindo branch locations across Indonesia, including the Head Office, Medan, Denpasar, Lampung, Samarinda, Serang, Cirebon, Ambon, Demak, and Malang.
As part of this initiative, Jamkrindo distributed a total of 5,200 basic food packages, 550 Qurans, and financial assistance to numerous orphanages and underprivileged children.
In Medan, the symbolic handover of aid was carried out by Sulis Usdoko, Director of HR, General Affairs, Compliance, and Information Technology at PT Jamkrindo, to H. Darius, Chairman of Al Jam'iyatul Washliyah Orphanage.
H. Darius expressed gratitude to Jamkrindo, stating: "Thank you, Jamkrindo. May Jamkrindo continue to succeed and contribute to improving the welfare of the community."
